Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters. When VeilNorth identifies a substantive factual error, we aim to correct it promptly and transparently.

How to request a correction

Email editor@veilnorth.com with the article URL, the passage in question, an explanation of the issue, and supporting evidence or primary sources.

What happens next

We review the original source material, relevant evidence, and the context of the claim. We may contact the person raising the issue or a subject of the article for clarification. Requests for a preferred conclusion are not treated as evidence.

Corrections, clarifications, and updates

• Correction: fixes a material factual error.
• Clarification: improves wording that was accurate but could reasonably be misunderstood.
• Update: adds material information that became available after publication.
• Minor edit: fixes spelling, grammar, formatting, or a broken link without changing meaning.

Material corrections should be noted in or near the article. Minor edits may be made without a correction note.

Review independence

We do not remove accurate criticism solely because a company or individual dislikes it. We will reconsider claims when credible evidence shows they are inaccurate, incomplete, or unfairly presented.
